Attempted Armed Robbery, Case# 03-068589
On 08/01/2003 at02:30 hours, an unknown suspect, possibly American Indian decent, attempted to rob a cab driver while driving north on Alafaya Trail. The suspect told the cab driver “give me all your money.” The suspect produced a knife and pointed it at the cab driver. The cab driver told the suspect he was an undercover police officer, and the car behind them was his back-up. The cab driver pulled over and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as an American Indian male, 30-35 years old, 5’11”, medium build, with black hair pulled back into a short ponytail. The victim stated the suspect had prominent cheek bones and sunken eyes.. (See composite). |
