| Detective
Stephen A. Fusco has been a police officer since 1980, when he first joined
the Winter Garden Police Department in Winter Garden, Florida.
Detective Fusco worked as a patrol officer until 1986, when he was
promoted to Detective. In
1989 Detective Fusco attended and successfully completed his first
forensic artist training. He worked as a part-time artist and full-time
detective until 1992, when he was promoted within the Winter Garden Police
Department to Detective Sergeant. In
1995 Detective Fusco was hired by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in
Orlando, Florida. Detective Fusco worked as a part-time sex crimes
investigator and part-time artist until 1997, when he was assigned as the
agency’s first full-time forensic artist.
Detective Fusco has since successfully completed the FBI’s
forensic artist training course in Quantico, Virginia.
Detective Fusco is only one of three full-time forensic artists in
the state of Florida. Detective Fusco is presently assigned to the
Forensics Unit, and works within the Image Lab. |
